The brass products are polished to a shiny finish at the factory. Polished brass is a "living" surface treatment that changes over time – the product develops a beautiful patina. The shine can be maintained by polishing with metal/brass polish. The untreated brass products have MP in their article number. If you prefer the product to retain its surface and remain unchanged, choose MP1, which is a different brass finish with a lacquered surface.
